Beach Trip
As summer comes to an end the only way to end it right is with sand between your toes, a cold drink in your hand, awesome waves, and good friends by your side!
Taking a trip to the beach is one of my favorite things to do. But recently I realized that most of us don’t notice the hidden expenses that are attached with taking a trip to the beach. So, here are a few tips from yours truly to help you have the ultimate beach trip without affecting your wallet!
Step 1:
Round up a group of friends! This is necessary for the rest of the steps, plus the more the merrier!
Step 2:
Pick a person out of the group with a car that can hold the most people but stay away from those with big cars. The bigger the car, the more gas it takes to fill it and we all know gas ain’t cheap!
Step 3:
Ask everyone to pitch in for gas money! Depending on where you go, the amount of gas it takes to get there will change. Whatever the amount may be, split the cost equally amongst your crew!
Step 4:
Bring your own lunch! This is a great way to save money and if you want to save even more money, designate each of your friends a certain item to bring and share!
Step 5:
Leave early! Whoever gets to the beach first has a greater chance of finding a parking spot! Every beach has free public parking but if you arrive too late, you’ll have to pay the consequences… and there’s nothing worse than a 25$ parking spot.
