Ladies and gentlemen, yes it is true. I AM THE MATTMAN! So, if you haven’t figured it out yet, MIDFLORIDA has something Batman-themed coming. Well… *silence to build dramatic tension* MIDFLORIDA is giving away 40, yes 40, IMAX tickets to see the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises at 12:01 A.M. on July 20 at the Cobb Theatre at Lakeside Village in Lakeland.
So Matt, what’s the catch? Well, there really is none. These are completely free tickets that anyone, age 10-22, can enter to win. We will be giving away two tickets to every winner so there are 20 chances to win. This is where the plot thickens. To enter the contest you need to text the word “Mattman” to the number (863) 808-0545. And that’s it. You will be entered to win the tickets. You have until July 17 to enter the contest and we’ll call the winners on July 18 to let them know they’ve won. Those who are lucky enough to win will pick up their tickets inside the Cobb Theatre at Lakeside Village on the night of the premiere. RT4T will have a table set up in the middle of the lobby where you can come get your tickets.

In addition, at the table we will have a super awesome prize wheel that anyone (ages 10-22) can come spin to win a prize. Prizes include: $10 Cobb gift cards, iTunes, Popcorn Vouchers, Drawstring Backpacks, T-Shirts and more. Feel free to come say hello. I will be there and I can’t wait to meet some of you guys. Contest is open from June 26 – July 17, 2012 to youth, ages 10-22, within MIDFLORIDA’s service area. Winners will be notified by phone on July 18. One entry per person per day. Credit Union employees, officials, vendors and their immediate families are not eligible to win.

Post a CommentOn the invitation it says come see Matt, and catch the premiere, then under that it says win IMAX tickets. Are you saying we get into the non-imax for free?
Please straiten this up for me.
We are only giving away 40 tickets (20 winners) to the IMAX showing of The Dark Knight Rises. I will be inside the lobby of the Cobb Theatre at a table with other prizes to give away including Cobb gift cards, t-shirts and other prizes. The only way to see the movie for free is to enter the giveaway via text message to possibly win IMAX tickets.
